With finalization of the sale of the USA Church of the Nazarene Loan Fund to the Wesleyan Investment Foundation, Marilyn McCool, general treasurer of the Church of the Nazarene, announced Friday that proceeds from the nearly US$27 million transaction have been used to pay the US$25 million debt on the church's Global Ministry Center in Lenexa, Kansas, USA. read more

Pastor proclaims God's glory despite attempt to censor him
Nazarene Pastor Scott Rainey proclaimed the name of Jesus Christ during a Memorial Day ceremony despite the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' attempt to censor his prayer. A federal judge ruled in favor of Rainey and issued a temporary restraining order against the Houston National Cemetery and the federal government, allowing Rainey to pray unhindered at the ceremony.
