NCM-India completes phase two of cyclone aid

Maharam Gaji lives with his wife, one son, and two daughters in a two-room, mud-walled hay shed in the Indian state of West Bengal. He used to have two cows, two goats, a small plot of land to cultivate, and a fish pond. But on May 25, Cyclone Aila struck, inflicting heavy damage on the area's farming and livestock, and taking an estimated 126 lives. Gaji still has his family and the hay shed. Everything else is gone. read more
