According to Faith Communities Today (FACT), an inter-denominational group of researchers, American congregations continue to struggle, facing declining attendance at worship, eroding financial health, waning spiritual vitality, and increasing uncertainty about their mission and purpose. At the same time, some congregations have shifted to a contemporary style of worship that has catalyzed growth. Other congregations have benefited from focused leadership. read more

From August 10-14, a Nazarene-hosted morning camp for children in East Jerusalem welcomed between 45 and 50 Arab children from several different religious backgrounds each day, with approximately 60 cycling through during the week. read more

AmeriVista grant opens doors for spiritual development at SNU
Southern Nazarene University's Office of Spiritual Development was a sub-recipient of an AmeriVista grant written and obtained by Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, Inc. Through this program, SNU students will develop a working understanding of non-profit organizations, learn resources for eliminating poverty, and be able to articulate a theology of service. read more
