An attendance of 19 adults and five children was a great victory for the Church of the Nazarene in Lushnje, Albania, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the denomination.

Madagascar churches join worldwide Centennial celebration with the Lord's Supper
The island of Madagascar is one district in the Church of the Nazarene. The churches celebrated the Centennial "in joy and with acclamation to glorify our Lord." In addition to warm praise and worship, special emphasis was given to partaking in the Lord's Supper.

Pastor's daughter killed after Central Africa flooding
During the end of March, floods hit the Zambezi and Chavuma areas of Central Africa, saturating fields and causing the collapse of many homes. On March 26, the 11 year old daughter of Pastor Mubiana in Kabompo-Watopa was caught and killed by a crocodile.

300 attend Africa Regional Leadership Conference in Nairobi
Revival, refreshing, renewing, recommitting, reunion ... were all words used to describe the recent Africa Regional Leadership Conference held at Africa Nazarene University in Nairobi, Kenya, from April 19-24. Approximately 300 Nazarene leaders from across the seven fields of the continent came together for the event.

Packed with the excitement and eagerness to be used by God, 13 Visayan Nazarene Bible College students from the Child, Church, and Mission class in Cebu, Philippines, boarded a ship for Bohol Island in the Visayas for a Mission Exposure trip with their teacher, Dan Balayo. (Slideshow)

SNU's Fred Floyd Archives receives grant to help preserve history
The Oklahoma Department of Libraries, in partnership with the Oklahoma Historical Records Advisory Board, announced May 1 that Southern Nazarene University was awarded a "Threats to Your Collection" grant of $1,000 to purchase archival storage supplies for preservation of SNU and Bethany historic records.
