The son of college president, district superintendent, and World War II hero Mark R. Moore, Brad knew the inside scoop on the Church of the Nazarene. And that knowledge made him a passionate believer in the Church's mission and message. Brad Moore is president of Hallmark Hall of Fame Productions, a subsidiary of Hallmark Cards, Inc. In this role, he is responsible for the development and production of the Hallmark Hall of Fame, the most-honored series in U.S. television history. read more

For their generations of dedicated service, Northwest Nazarene University is proud to bestow the Mangum family with the first Family Heritage Award at a ceremony in their honor on May 8. Established by the Alumni Board of Directors, the award honors alumni families who, throughout generations, have brought honor and distinction to the university and who have advanced the cause of Christ through their lives and service. read more


Weather balloon launch offers student experimentation
Mount Vernon Nazarene University meteorology students, along with Professor Joyce Miller, launched their first high-altitude weather balloon on April 24. This launch enabled students to process experimental data in ways similar to professional meteorologists. read more

For the first time in 20 years, there will be a new head coach roaming the sidelines for the Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's basketball team when the 2009-2010 season rolls around. The university announced April 29 the hiring of Matt Moore as the program's ninth head coach. read more


Leavy takes charge of TNU men's soccer program
Trevecca Nazarene University has announced the hiring of Danny Leavy as the fourth men's soccer coach in the program's history. After serving as Trevecca men's soccer coach for five seasons, Jeff Carr has accepted an administrative position at Brevard Community College in Titusville, Florida. read more
