South Asia Field celebrates Centennial by organizing new churches
When the district superintendents of the South Asia Field (Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka) began meeting with Field Strategy Coordinator Ron Gilbert to discuss how they could join worldwide Nazarenes in celebrating the Centennial, they knew they did not have much money. However, they recognized that they possessed something that was of much more value—something that is occurring in only a few other places in the world. They have a movement of God taking place that is capturing the hearts of thousands of people, and new churches are being planted and developed at a phenomenal rate. Surely this was their resource for celebrating the Centennial. read more

A church-based response to HIV/AIDS in Zambia
There is a growing recognition by many development agencies and the government in Zambia that faith-based organizations play a critical role in the response to HIV/AIDS. For example, more than 155 Nazarene churches in Africa now have functional HIV/AIDS programs which are touching many households and people, allowing them to experience the love of Christ. read more

"Little did I know in 1985 when I began to dream of a communication center on the Asia Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary campus," E. Point Loma Nazarene University receives Orchid Award
Point Loma Nazarene University was honored Friday, November 14, with an Orchid Award for Sustainable Design. Each year, the San Diego Architectural Foundation hands out Orchids and Onions for the best and worst designs, respectively. This year's Orchid, given because of PLNU's 310-KW solar panel system, is the university's first. (Slideshow) read more
