Q: Which Bible translation does Museum@12627 use?
A: New International Version
Q: What is the daily Bible Challenge?
A: The practical application of the day's Bible lesson. Each day has a corresponding practical application of how kids can bring what they've learned home. A great way to teach kids how to share Jesus with others.
Q: Do I have to use Museum@12627 for a one-week Vacation Bible School event, or can I use it for Sunday mornings?
A: Museum@12627 is designed to be used in five lessons. However, it is flexible enough for you to use these five lessons in a variety of formats. These include as a summer program for mid-week (on five Wednesdays) or as a five Sunday program.
Q: Do I have to use crafts suggested in the Crafts book?
A: No. There are two options for each day; 1 is the main theme related craft, the 2nd is a Community Service Project option. You may also use additional crafts to those listed in the program.
Q: Can I return leftover VBS materials for credit?
A: You may return the Student Books, and Reveal-a-Verse Puzzle Cube with your invoice within 14 days of the closing of your VBS. Please be sure to order ample supply. All other VBS materials are NOT returnable.
Q: Do I have to use the DVD?
A: No; the scripts for the skits are included in the Opening & Closing leader’s guide. The DVD does give you the option of using multi media in your VBS program. It is recommended that you use the DVD resource available to you. It makes your job easier, the kids will love watching the daily skits and the many other fun features on the DVD.
Q: Does our church need to buy student books?
A: We strongly recommend that you purchase a student book for each child in early childhood and elementary. The early childhood book Sid & Simon’s Museum Adventure has daily activity sheets for students to complete and then take home as well as reminders to reinforce the daily God’s Plan (Life Point) and Ancient Truth (Bible truth), a welcome and thank-you note for families, and a Bible verse reminder activity. The elementary book is designed for interactive Bible fun at VBS and a take-home mini-poster for each session. The five daily posters are mini versions of the large Bible memory posters they will see at VBS and are perfectly sized to use at home. Remember, whether they use these activity book sheets during the program, or as take-homes, it’s yet another way to help your Mystery Kids learn and remember what Museum@12627 has taught them. Check these two books out (free in your starter kit) and we are sure you’ll agree they are a great value to connect VBS with the home!
Q: Is the Mystery Tunes Music CD (Stereo & Split Tracks) reproducible?
A: Yes, this item is fully reproducible! A great way to reward pre-registration and welcome new registrants to your VBS is to give them their own copy of the great Mystery Tunes for home.
Q: Where can I ask more specific questions that I do not see on this page?
