Unit Bible Truth: God created everything, and He provides ways for His creation to continue.
Verse-a-Month Club Memory Verse: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" (Genesis 1:1).
This unit will help early elementary children:
- Know that God created and cares for the world and everything in it
- Understand that God created people to be in a relationship with Him and to care for His creation
- Know that all people have dispbeyed God, but God is loving, merciful, and forgiving
- Feel awe at God's greatness, power, and love
- Be able to find Genesis in the Bible
