FEATURES
- "God's Love First: Prevenient Grace," by Klaus Arnold. Our salvation would not be possible if it were not for God's grace that comes before.
- "What a Wonderful Change: Christian Conversion," by Timothy M. Green. Conversion, the initial transforming work of God, encompasses much more than a mere "turning" in the way we feel or behave. Conversion transforms our identity, literally changing who we are.
- "Day by Day: Growth in Grace," by Diane Leclerc. Growth is not only possible but also required after the experience of entire sanctification.
- "Fitness for Life's Journey: Entire Sanctification," by David P. Whitelaw. Sanctification, or holy living, is the free work of Christ in us, reconciling us to God and transforming us in His likeness.
- "'Thy Kingdom Come': The Completion of the Kingdom of God," by Kent E. Brower. What do we mean when we pray, "Thy kingdom come"? For Christians, the kingdom of God is something that has both already arrived and is yet to come.
- "The Bride of Christ: The Church and the Sacraments," by Roderick T. Leupp. The church God wants must be a fellowship, a place where people talk to Him and to each other. When He sanctifies, cleanses, and recreates people to be truly holy, only then does the sanctuary become a holy place.
- "Bless the Lord: Worship and Witness," by Ted Esselstyn. Far beyond the sanctuary where the congregation gathers, worship and witness must be an ongoing lifestyle in our everyday world.

- Heartbeat: "'Cookies 'N Cream' and Communications," by Michael R. Estep. Similar to developing a new flavor of ice cream, we who serve the church in communications are asked to take the tried and true message of heart holiness to new generations without changing the "texture" or "taste" of the glorious Good News.
- Editor's Forum: This month's panel of experts answers questions about sanctification, our Wesleyan-Holiness roots, and the seeming trend of large churches getting larger and small churches getting smaller.
- The Deeper Way: "Holiness: The Next Generation," by Vicki Honea Copp. What will the next generation believe about holiness? Are we living a believable doctrine before them?
- Metro: "Cities and Salt," by Fletcher L. Tink. Whether we are city folk, suburbanites, or country kin, we are all polluted by the common cultural waters.
- Portraits: "Carlos Saenz: After the Storm," by Dean Nelson. With a deep sense of compassionate responsibility, Caribbean Nazarenes are working throughout their own countries to help one another in need.
- Family Tree: "The Purpose-Driven Marriage," by Les and Leslie Parrott. What can we do as marriage partners to enjoy the comfort and confidence that comes in finding our way together? The answer is found in having a purpose-a marital mission that helps us chart our course.
- Worldview: "Mission in Partnership," by Clive Burrows. As the Western church defines its role and relationship to the people of Eastern Europe, "partnership in mission" becomes the new paradigm.
- Touching: "Invite the Poor, the Maimed, the Lame, the Blind," by David M. Best. Is the church accessible to all, regardless of handicaps or disabilities?
- Essay: "Dachau" by Randall E. Davey. "I puzzled at the whole business of racial purity and ethnic cleansing. I grieved over these hideous expressions of inhumanity, the prolonged excesses of demonic evil evidenced on these grounds. I wondered, how? Why?"
