| It is 'the' central christian value. 'Charity' is central to all ethics & theology. The Law begins and ends with charity. "...and have not charity, I am nothing." (KJV, 1Cor. 13:7); And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity." (KJV, 2Pet. 1:7) Charity is proactive – it is the initiator of interaction, and must therefore be the first & primary spark that initiates subsequent action-the Wisdom & Divine service of good works, and primarily of charity.
